About the Role:
The hands-on role will have you supervising the delivery of projects on time and within budget. You will be coordinating daily tasks according to priorities and plans, making changes when necessary due to weather, supply, delivery and personnel. Delegating individual responsibilities and projects to your team members and contractors. Recruiting, hiring, training, managing and mentoring employees and contractors.
Role Responsibilities:
- Overseeing on site construction works;
- Leading internal teams;
- Managing the day-to-day duties of the site;
- Ensure H&S obligations are met;
- Ensure projects are completed to deadlines through resource management;
- Liaising with Site Manger and Project Management team and reporting any issues;
- Upskilling your team with your knowledge. Supporting and developing your team as required with a key focus on detail;
- Delivery on time through being highly organised with solid time management, monitoring progress and look at efficiencies.
About You:
We are looking for a strong leader with a positive and energetic work ethic. With top notch communication and organisation skills you will be driven to deliver projects on time and within budget. A natural born leader you will be committed to empowering, motivating and directing your team.
Your experience:
- BCITO qualification;
- An experienced leader who is proficient to coach, mentor and motivate your team;
- Registered LBP;
- Min 3 years experience as a Foreman on commercial building sites;
- Sound knowledge of Concrete, Steel, Insitute pour, tilt slab, freezer panel and cladding;
- Certified and experienced with Telehandler, WRT, EWP;
- Procore software experience an advantage, but not a pre-requisite;
- Solid understanding of relevant legislation and industry compliance standards;
- Strong people and leadership skills;
- Site Safe.
