With a rich background in the construction industry, Chris Lawton serves as the South Island Project Manager/Supervisor at Steelpac Construction. Growing up within the family business from the age of 16, Chris has honed his skills and expertise over the years, learning from his father’s guidance and hands-on experience in various facets of construction.
A qualified builder with a Licensed Building Practitioner (LBP) license, Chris prides himself on his deep knowledge, commitment, and passion for delivering exceptional construction projects. He has gained a reputation for his comprehensive approach, managing projects across all aspects of the building process and ensuring high standards of quality and craftsmanship.
Originally from Auckland, Chris and his family moved to Christchurch to continue the legacy of excellence that Steelpac Construction has built in both regions. Outside of work, Chris enjoys spending quality time with his wife and four children, caring for their lifestyle block, fishing, and exploring the natural beauty of the South Island.
